Moving Moving is such a pain, its like dying, then being born again. Old, familiar, secure: people
and places, rituals and whats sure, holding on, then letting go. Forces of chaos rule the day as strewn boxes
fill empty rooms, movers sweat, grunt and haul them away. Too much to remember, such little time left to do last
minute minutiae before September. All is foreign, are we lost? Starting over again. Life changes, and it has its
cost: hearts broken, dreams shattered, regrets and missed opportunities, living with mistakes that mattered. Earth
keeps spinning, rivers keep running, moving on is inevitable, pilgrims we till last breath, then homecoming. -6/09/2001

September 11, 2001 Horror, horror everywhere does anyone really care, beyond byte time stares at a world
so cruel, unfair? Please bow in prayers of love, peace with justice share, eradicate terror everywhere. White
smoke-filled air from WTC towers please spare us everyday, everyway, everywhere. Heal all in grief and despair,
from revenge and retaliation us spare. Unite one and all show you care work for a better world with prayer. -19/09/2001

Remembering George Today I read the news, George Harrison died after his battle with lung, throat, and
brain cancer. Dubbed the quiet one of the Beatles, George was philosophical, with his proclivity towards
that of God in us all. He was a gentle, weeping guitarist; an accomplished sitarist; his lyrics always revealing
the emotions and virtues of a great soul. May your legacy live on George. May your quiet, generous benevolence
towards the just causes of the worlds poorest shine like the noonday sun as a noble exemplar for everyone.
Thank you George for a job well done! May you find love and peace in heavens eternal choir; playing and singing
in the presence of The Holy One! -30/11/2001 -Lo Gos

Good Friday Morning
Good Friday Morning, we hear a crow crying, three times it
sounds out could someone be dying? Bane bird not hiding,
God's truth not denying, all earth's defying.
Three times a crow cried, three times Christ was denied, three hours the
world was dark, and Christ crucified. Three days then Jesus
was raised after he died; God made him alive.
On this Good Friday, we in awe now thank you, for all things
that you suffered in love so true. All God's creation
sings forever to you, making life anew.

A Joy Observed Far from fleeting fancy, yoyo up-down dancing; or fickle romancing, come wonders to behold.
All those years of knocking, waiting, walking, talking; of freezing cold frosting, finally open doors.
Amazing what one call, after exile, tells all; dreams and destiny call, spirit takes flight again.
Alive as springs green grass, a musicians choice brass; enthralled students in class, holy credulity.
Breathtaking scenery, to be free to be me; see justice and mercy, taking shape all around. -28/11/2001
